Press / Business contact:
We are simulogics, a small independent game studio located in Germany. Our games are made for experts, by experts. Our developers and our players share a love for deep simulations, for quirky interfaces, for real interactions with real people, for worlds modeled after our own, for mechanics that value actual experience over experience points, for themes and settings ignored by most of the industry, for fairness and for real consequences. In short: We make games that few others would dare to make!
The story of simulogics began in January 2002 when founder Martin Simons started working on what would one day become AirlineSim, our first game. He started developing a browser-based, persistent, multiplayer airline simulation game before the term „browser-based game“ even existed.AirlineSim
AirlineSim quickly caught on with a loyal community of aviation and business sim fans and has gained momentum ever since. For the first 5 years, the project was a mere hobby. It „went commercial“ in 2007, in that we charged fees from our players for the first time. Contrary to more common trends in the industry, AirlineSim has since remained a pure pay-2-play game. Today, it is still being enjoyed by roughly 2000 active players.Contract work
About two years later, we also started offering our expertise to business customers, creating web-based applications and tools with a strong focus on aviation, transport and logistics. The resulting insights into real-world systems have greatly informed the deep and realistic game design our fans have come to expect from us.Prosperous Universe
In early 2016, we started expanding our team for the purpose of developing our second title, Prosperous Universe. The browser-based sci-fi economy sim is currently at the closewd alpha stage and will be made available to a wider audience in 2018 or 2019.
